Project Manager – Building Technical Systems

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of projects related to building technical systems, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), electrical systems, and building inspection. The incumbent also oversees forklift maintenance, research and development activities, and relationships with subcontractors. He/She ensures the coordination, planning, and efficient execution of projects in compliance with timelines, budgets, and specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of projects related to building technical systems, including:
  • o Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems
  • o Electrical systems
  • o Building inspection and assessment
  • Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of the company’s forklifts.
  • Conduct research and development activities to identify new technologies and innovative solutions in building technical fields.
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with third-party subcontractors, including suppliers, contractors, and technical experts.
  • Ensure regular project follow-up, identify and resolve issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Ensure budgets, schedules, and quality standards are met for all projects.
  • Provide detailed progress reports and cost-benefit analyses.
  • Participate in the training and professional development of technical teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • College diploma or equivalent training in a building technical field (mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, etc.).
  • 5 to 10 years of proven experience managing complex technical projects in the construction sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical systems, and building inspection.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (planning, tracking, control, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high level of rigor.
