Factory labourer

We are currently hiring general laborers for our Quebec City plant.

In this role, you will support the daily operations of the plant by performing various production tasks, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an efficient workflow. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a hands-on work environment and want to actively contribute to a productive team.

Flexible Schedule During the Probation Period

During the probation period, candidates must be able and willing to work any assigned shift (including day, evening, night shifts, weekends, and holidays, as required by production needs). After successfully completing the probation period, employees will have more opportunities to request shift changes as positions become available, while respecting operational needs and the collective agreement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in production processes, including material handling, assembly, and packaging.
• Operate basic machinery and tools under supervision.
• Perform general tasks such as loading/unloading materials and moving products within the plant.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in compliance with safety regulations.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and report any defects or issues.
• Provide support to machine operators and other team members as needed.
• Follow company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, standing, and moving for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to support different departments as needed.
• Basic knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
